Archives Information for Researchers

Use either the Google Maps link (1.) or the turn by turn directions (2.) below.

1. Use Google Maps' link to take you to "1645 College Street, Macon, GA 31207."  Once you arrive at that street address, do the following: 

• At the stop sign directly in front of you, turn left into a large parking lot.
• The library is the large brick building with a clock tower on top.
• The main entrance is under the clock tower. Special Collections is on the third floor.

2. From I-16 follow the signs to I-75 South. From I-75 (north or south) :

• Exit at Mercer University Drive (Exit 163).
• From southbound I-75 turn left onto Mercer University Drive; from northbound I-75 turn right onto Mercer University Drive.
• Travel to the second traffic light (College Street).
• Turn left onto campus.
• Drive down to the stop sign and turn left into a large parking lot.
• The library is the large brick building with a clock tower on top.
• The main entrance is under the clock tower. Special Collections is on the third floor.

Visitors may park anywhere that is an actual, legal parking spot (no sidewalks, loading zones, or yellow curbs).

Mercer University parking lots are color-coded for students and employees; this does not apply to visitors who may park in these lots without a sticker. Please note that parking can be difficult to find at certain times of day and we cannot guarantee that you will find a spot near Tarver Library.
