About the Pre-Health Program Resources

Mercer University Libraries Pre-Health guide covers topics pertaining to established pre-health tracks. Such tracks include:

Pre-Anesthesiologist Assistant, Pre-Athletic Training, Pre-Dental, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Nursing, Pre-Occupational Therapy, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Physician Assistant, Pre-Podiatry, and Pre-Veterinary.

Physical materials for pre-health tracks are located on the second floor of the Jack Tarver Library, Macon, GA, in the reference area and on the third floor of the Jack Tarver Library. Materials are also located at our Library in Atlanta. Students may request materials from one location to any location. Online materials are available through our multitude of databases. Research and reference help is available to our students through in-person location-based, scheduled consultations, videos, FAQs and our twenty-four-hour chat service. Library research classes are also offered to impart information literacy skills such as where the resources are, discernment of resources, and how to use them, just to name a few.
