What is a systematic review?

A systematic review answers a research question by collecting and summarizing all the evidence that fits the criteria of your research topic.

Define your research topic/question
Select the inclusion and exclusion criteria
Select the right database to search for studies
Use the data from the studies that fit your research topic based on the research question
Look for any bias in the studies (who paid for the funding, who were the authors, what was the outcome..
