Article example;

Book

Author, A. A. (Year of publication). Title of work: Capital letter also for subtitle. Publisher.

Book example;

Campbell, W. D. (1995). The stem of Jesse: The costs of community at a 1960s southern school. Mercer University Press.

 

Webpage

Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Date of publication). Title of document. http://webaddress.gov

Webpage example;

Educational Testing Service. (2017). About the GACE assessments. http://gace.ets.org/about

 

No publication date?  Use (n.d.).

 

No author?  Start with the title.  It can be shortened if it is long.  If it is not italicized and not capitalized, then it is in quotes and capitalized in-text.  

Example;

List of oldest companies. (2022, January 12) In Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_oldest_companies

In text citation: ("List of Oldest Companies," 2022)

 

No page numbers?  For in-text quote citations, use a heading or section name (can be abbreviated) and/or (para. #).

In text citation example: (DeAngelis, 2018, Musical Forays section, para. 4)
